Hey buddies, an important announcement. Emily Wade, the SVA Librarian is actually organizing and putting together a discussion panel for the graphic design majors. The scheduled date is April 16th. At the moment she has two confirmed alums, and a long list of people she needs to contact. I think this would be a great jumping off point for next year's class if we were to co-sponsor the event (i.e. Presented by the Visual Arts Library and the Graphic Arts Council).
I'm asking for feedback on people you would like to see there. Maybe you work/intern for them, or there's someone in the area you really admire and would love to see them come talk at the panel. Emily's got a lot on her plate, and between all of us I think we can track down some people, and it would mean a lot more if there were people there we really wanted.
So:
1) Suggest anyone you would like to invite.
2) Get in contact with them yourself, or forward their information to me or Emily (ecwade@bu.edu).
3) Suggest any other things you'd like to do or see at this event.
It might be wise to handpick a few juniors to give the mantle to, and perhaps we can plan an all out end of the year GAC event. Post away please!

We can definitely reach outside of Boston. As long as they're willing to travel!
